Kitting

Kitting refers to compiling separate but related products in a ready-to-ship kit. This saves a lot of time, and cost for the sellers and streamlines order fulfillment. For example, when a customer orders a computer, he may also order a mouse, hard disk, headphones, etc. In such cases, all these products are shipped in a single piece rather than shipping them separately.



1PL

A first-party logistics provider, also known as 1PL, is an entity, either a company or an individual, that requires the transportation of cargo, freight, goods, or products from one location to another. First-party logistics, by definition, involves oly two parties i.e sellers or manufacturer that ships the goods and the retailer or consumer that recieves the goods.



Shipping Insurance

Shipping insurance is the service that saves the goods of eCommerce sellers against damaged, lost, or stolen packages. If the shipper has insured his shipment he can get the declared value in case of any of the default situations.


