Fuel Surcharge is an extra fee levied on top of freight charges to account for variablility in fuel prices. Fuel surcharges could be fixed percentage value or a markup on indexed fuel rates - either prevailing petrol/diesle rates or international crude oil prices.

This is the fee assocaited with collection of cash at the time of delivery levied by courier partners.This fee is used to incentivise delivery executives to collect and safegaurd funds collected at the time of delviery and is also used to cover the charges incurred by courier partners in facilitating collection either via electronic means or hard cash, safegaurding these funds and processing them for remittance. This is usually calcaulted as the maximum of a fixed value or a percetnage of the amount collected


