This is a webpage or interface that customers can access to enter their order details (usually a tracking number) to see the current status and expected delivery date of their orders.



A multi piece or multi-package shipment is a single shipment having multiple boxes sent to be delivered to a single address under one AWB number. Merchants use this type of packaging for cost optimization, since shipping small packages as one single shipment is more economical. All the small packages are clubbed together under one shipment with a master label.



Consignee

Consignee is typically the owner of the shipment. It is the person who is finally going to receive the order. There are three stakeholders in the process of the shipment that are consignor, the consignee, and the carrier. Consignor is the seller who ships out the goods via a carrier. A consignee should always be present at the time of delivery.



Order Allocation Engine

Order allocation engine refers to assigning of order pickup to relevant warehouse. A business may be operating from multiple warehouses, order is assigned to a particular warehouse based on multiple factors such as type of product, delivery location, etc.


